Really friendly service and didn’t not take long to get my car back!

I highly recommend Kost Tire in Shavertown! The front desk team is always honest, reliable, and friendly (especially Sam). They consistently go the extra mile to ensure my car is safe and reliable, and they’re always willing to offer great deals when needed. The front desk guys really stand out—they handle multiple tasks at once while keeping everything running smoothly. I’ve sent multiple people there, and they’ve all had nothing but positive things to say. I completely trust them with my car and my business.

Stopped by this afternoon (August 17) at the Shavertown store to see when they could get a chance to look at one of my cars tires that has a very slow leak - 2 or 3 pounds a week of air loss. Manager said if I wanted to hang out, they could look at it shortly. Got it in about 15 minutes later and found the problem- a screw in the tire. Removed the screw, patched the tire, and on my way in less than an hour. Best of all, NO CHARGE! Thanks "Slim Jim"!

Kost Tire in Shavertown, PA gets a 5-star rating! I, and my family, have taken our business to Kost for years, and my most recent experience exemplifies the reason we have so much confidence in them. I took my vehicle to them to have them install headlights I had purchased online. The mechanic attempted to do so, but found that the lights needed an additional part to complete the installation. Kost made no-charge for their mechanic's time. I returned the following week with what I thought was the correct additional part. Kost put my vehicle on the rack again but found that the online company sent me the wrong part. Once again, Kost did not charge me for their mechanic's time! I abandoned using products from that online company and went to a local auto store and purchased replacement headlights and returned to Kost. They successfully installed these new, and correct parts, and I was surprised when Mark handed me the keys and said "No charge". Who does this? Three times they worked on my vehicle and sent me out the door without charging me. This kind of concern and care for customers is why everyone in my family will continue to use Kost's services. A special thanks to Mark and Sam for such a positive customer experience. I recommend Kost to anyone who needs automotive service. These folks are really focused on serving their customers' needs in a very fair way!

Update: After my original review, the district manager reached out to me and took care of the issue. He corrected the situation in the way I hoped it would be handled. I appreciate him stepping in and making it right. Make your own conclusion. Bought a low mileage car, essentially a fast collector vehicle. it needed tires due to age, not wear. the rims were pristine when i dropped it off.. 100% sure. i just cleaned them. no joke.. have had the car for a week and didn’t drive it since purchase… spent the week detailing it.. so i knew every inch. when i picked up the car after installation of new tires, i was told the large very noticeable scape/gouge was already there … and oh yeah both climate controls were turned way up. not where i left them. will be talking to the Goodyear employee discount program contacts at my employer about it.

Super grateful for their help today! I stopped by because I had a nail in my tire. They were friendly and professional and took care of it for me right away. I'll be back when I need to buy new tires!

Great service! I unfortunately ran over a nail recently, and had to stop in without an appointment. They were able to patch the tire pretty quickly, and send me back out on my way. Will definitely be back the next time I'm in need of service. Thanks!

Absolutely love and cherish their service and employees. They ALWAYS take great care of me and my family. I have been going there almost 15 years. Though there is a location three minutes from my home, I drive the extra ten to go to the Dallas location because it feels like home.

January 15,2025 Today y was assisted by Mark and Tony at this location, due to budget issues I was about to go check somewhere else’s because my company can’t pay above $1200 per service, however, steps in discounted the all 4 tires and I was able to get my truck service the same day instead of waiting for the next day which was going to make me to miss work. Customers service was absolutely great, The time duration was in a tolerable range as well. Thanks guys. Lawrence Teah.

I just want to say Sam and Matt are true artists when comes to working on my vehicles!!! They always let me know when something down the road may cause an issue . Only have GREAT things to say about the folks here at Kost. I was visiting from NJ and found out my tire had a leak, I got here 1/2 an hour before closing, but they still helped me. They found the nail in the tire, and patched it up. I would highly recommend you check this place out for all your automotive needs
