Got a screw in a tire while I was in town for a wedding. They fixed the tire and got me on my way. They are courteous and professional. I’m thankful for the help I received.

These guys go above and beyond for customers. I was in town for my uncles funeral, during the procession I got a flat tire, called to make sure they had my tire size, he confirmed he had the size I needed. I made it to the shop, when he was taking my info I told him I was from allentown, he asked what brought.me to town, I explained my situation and they had me back on the road in about 30 minutes, so I was able to get back to my family. Highly recommend these guys!!

This was one of the most wonderful, inspiring business experiences I have ever had. We’re visiting Heart Lake on vacation and got a flat tire. Car troubles are always nerve-wracking, especially when you’re somewhere unfamiliar. Josh and the team at Kost were warm, reassuring and professional, which allowed me to leave them not only my vehicle but also my worries and instead go back and spend a lovely morning with my family. When we came back to pick up the car (which was fixed up incredibly quickly), Josh presented me with the nail they had removed from the tire. Showing up in a new place with a busted car and an out-of-state license plate, you’re always a little afraid that you won’t be treated fairly. Instead, Josh treated us like family, and we’re incredibly grateful. Kost Tires is not just a great business, but a great ambassador for the town of Montrose!

I was traveling from GA to MA alone and got a flat tire in the middle of the night. I got my spare put on and drove somewhere close until I could get to a tire shop in the morning. I called at 7:18am and Bob answered and made my day because they did not open technically until 7:30. To make a long story short this place deserves 10 STARS! I ended up needing 2 tires, an alignment, and a new axel unfortunately, but could not complain because of the GREAT PRICE and Customer Service provided. I was on the road safely to Boston in a few hours. Thank you so much, especially to Bob for taking great care of me.

I took a company truck in to get an oil change they didn’t have the filter for the truck so the man went and got one for the truck. They are great

Best tire shop I've ever been to and I am 67 years old. These folks are fair, efficient, thorough and trust worthy. They know their business and are honest and helpful beyond compare. I visit Montrose from Florida every year and if I need auto work, and I can let it wait, I do. I come here exclusively. I cannot say enough good about this business and the people who run it. Update as of April 9th 2026, The new people that are there now fixed what the previous staff messed up. The new folks got my jeep going again. Thanks to Josh and new district manager, Andrew! Fingers crossed 🤞🏻 driving her around now .. previous pictures and videos were from work performed by the previous staff Previous review...Okay so I'm updating my post because I was forcibly made to take it down by getting called by the district manager three times a day after I put the review up, ever since I took my vehicle to kost for an inspection .. saying I need this that and the third and they turned it into a Paperweight. Basically they forced me to get a new battery tray and mount because I didn't have the stupid little piece that holds the battery down, basically they made me have the car there from 11:30 in the morning to when they closed at 5:30 in the afternoon, and upon leaving my car got about maybe one or two miles before it brake checked me in front of a semi because when they took the battery tray out they hooked up on my wires wrong and almost killed me. And up until I took the review down or altered it to five stars, I didn't hear the end of it. What I had to do was buy a whole new car and left my Jeep sitting from that day where they supposedly repaired it, you know there was nothing wrong with it upon arrival with the exception of the battery Mount tray. And then I bought a set of tires from them and when they put these tires on, they put it so close to my fog light and windshield wiper reservoir that when I turned the wheel inward it took out the bracket for my fog light as well as cracked the windshield wiper reservoir, making those useless as well. $2500 later that they charged me, now I'm in the realm for the repairs that they destroyed my vehicle with. I should have listened to everybody after the fact but, just getting to PA I went to the first place where I saw a vehicle inspection offered. What a mistake

They diagnosed a leaking tire and replaced it in an hour. We were driving back from a vacation when our car told is there was insufficient tire pressure. Looked up local tire companies, and saw a nearby Kost. I had work done years ago by another Kost in central PA, so I was familiar with the company. Kudos and thank you for saving our vacation!

I want to say thank you a great many to Marc n Stephen for the wonderful service they provided me today on a Saturday morning on 4/18/2026 I was driving home from work and hit a pothole and blew out 2 tires they (Marc n Stephen ) both got together and had my jeep tires on and running with in a hour great job great customer svc you guys are the best this is the best svc I've ever had with a tire shop and I used to use jack Williams well not no more thank you guys

Stopped in around 3 on a Saturday with a lawn tractor tire that needed the old tire removed from the rim and a new one put on, which i previously purchased. Completed in 5 minutes with no fee. Thank you Jeff and staff!

What a great experience to end a really miserable weekend. Our truck broke on vacation, and during towing it got a flat tire. It was such a struggle getting the tire off the truck (tool issues!) but we finally got it up to the Montrose Kost. The guys there are amazing. The guys in the shop were quick, they plugged and patched the massive hole in a timely manner and the guys at the counter were kind, empathetic and took the time out of their day to ask how mine was going and made the effort to make me feel better. Not just a "hope it gets better" but were genuine in their words and action. It really helped! Good people I'll recommended again and again.

Had a bad couple of days...first my battery died and then after getting a jump start was driving around to recharge it when all of a sudden my muffler disconnects from the middle pipe and falls down hanging just by the back rendering the car undriveable. Contacted Kost and spoke with Josh who assured me they could get me taken care of quickly. Josh and Chris went above and beyond to help get my car to the shop, the issue fixed, and showed alot of kindness, care, and compassion to an older disabled person on a limited income who relies on a safe, working ride to get to doctor appointments. Thank you for turning a bad week around and getting me back on the road; best & most caring service I've ever had.

We had a bit of an emergency waking up to a dead battery on a Saturday. After waiting for AAA to jump the car, Kost Tire & Auto in Montrose was able to squeeze our car in to replace the battery on short notice so we could continue with our busy day, and they were super fast! Extremely nice people, and great service all around! Without looking for a place intentionally, we found our go-to service center - we'll be back!!

These guys went above and beyond. Truly, and I mean truly, difficult to find great, authentic customer service these days. It’s all but obsolete, and you find a gem (Kost Tires Montrose, PA) which instills hope. Special thanks to Matt, who went the extra mile to get my son’s car back on the road asap. With regard to service: constant communication, understanding, patient, extremely thoughtful, helpful and courteous. It honestly felt foreign to be treated so well, like I’d forgotten and have become acclimated to current customer “care”. That is lack off. If you need work performed on your vehicle(s), I would recommend calling Kost, you too could be treated this fairly.
