Kost made servicing my car a breeze! They have a wonderful program partnering with WVW teachers and staff to service cars during the school day. They picked it up, did everything I needed within several hours, and had it back to me by dismissal. The prices were unbeatable, and they were so kind to deal with. I would highly recommend!

6.13.2023 - In response to what they stated… This was in 2020. And I finally posted my review because I found the place I went to for repairs. This did happen, regardless if your company states it has no record … thats fine, but the mechanics there still did not provide the services that was asked for. With that being said. Review stays, I personally put it as 5 stars so it wouldn’t be overlooked. At this rate, you might as well take your car to pep boys. Happy pride month. ALMOST LOST A LIFE DUE NEGLIGENCE OF CAR REPAIRMAN/WARNING BEFORE PAYING FOR SERVICES/NEW CAR BUYER?? Don’t go here to check!!!! My review is based on the repair that almost cost my life. As a woman, I asked the repair shop to tell me if this car is safe to drive after purchase, thats all, they said some minor work like oil changes could be done and we are fine. I got on the highway the next morning for a out of state trip, the car brakes went out and almost cause a collision that could’ve been fatal. I went to another repair shop in NEW JERSEY, they stated any auto repairman should’ve been able to see these problems. A fire could’ve easily have caused the car to burn down and lock me in it. This repair shop should be closed down, in the Kingston area many other residents are concerned about their knowledge on cars. Regardless it is a unsafe practice, if it would’ve caused any injuries this mechanical build a bear workshop would be in all facing criminal charges because I have documentation stating they said the car was good to drive but on the other end 2 auto professionals proved otherwise. I understood people could be greedy for work especially for pay, but greedy enough to cause a CUSTOMER to almost lose their life? You have to do better!! Regardless of self identify or race, you should always send your customers down the right direction if YOU can’t. I hope this place of business gets closed down or corrected IMMEDIATELY!!

My husband and I have been going to the Kost in Kingston on Pierce Street since they opened. We are treated like family every time we call or stop in for services. The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, especially the manager Flor! I called today upon noticing a nail in my tire and he was able to get me right in and back on the road within an hour. Thank you for the top notch customer service always!

I shopped for replacement tires for my 2014 Impala, comparing prices & services at online stores & Kost. My performance Continental Sport-5 tires were at first look $5.00 more expensive (unit cost) than the Online store. However, the Online store did not include mounting & balancing. I went with Kost because it's price included mounting & balancing, tax, pesky state miscellaneous fees and free 'Lifetime Tire Rotation'. Additionally, it automatically included me in a Kost program that includes discounts on State Inspections and Oil changes. The mechanics at my Kost store are also excellent engine & drive train technician's. One example, my Toyota 4-Runner gas mileage had slipped by 05 MPG and I took it to Toyota for correction. The Toyota mechanic cleaned my gas injectors and returned it to me. I found the 4-Runner started better, it ran smoother but the MGP was still lower than it's new car day-01 MPG. I asked Kost to check it and they cleaned the engine vaccume tubes for a cheap price ($20.00), which restored my MPG to new car performance levels. This is something Totota neglected to do when I brought it in for service.

Talk about quality service! In a time when everyone is just trying to make a buck Kost actually cares. The service it's great. They feel like family. They offer the best prices. I truly feel like they care about what they do and the people that they serve. I truly do trust their opinion. Love these guys.

The employees at Kost Tire, Wyoming Ave, Kingston are amazing. We have be going there for some time now and they are always helpful. Tom, Flo & Tim (the technician) are outstanding. Great customer service and they always go the extra mile. They are helpful with pricing and do their absolute best getting you in and back out on the road. I recently had a tire emergency (pot hole) and the guys were fantastic. We wouldn't trust our vehicles to anyone else. If you need tires, service or just an inspection, you can't beat Kost Tire, Wyoming Ave, Kingston.

My experience at Kost could not be better.They gave me the appointment when I wanted it and car was ready in a very short amount of time. Price is reasonable. I had an oil change and tire rotation. I did want to mention that I have been going there for a long time and the products they have sold me are the very best. So much so that when I traded in my car I had them switch the wind shield wipers so I could keep the good ones and the tires that I had brought from Kost just a week before I took off the car before trade in and put on cheap used tires. I was not giving up my good ones!!!

I’ve always been a fan of Kost so I take my vehicle there when there is a problem. I took it in the other Day to see if I can get a diagnosis on a problem I was having as well as getting an oil change tire rotation. While it was being serviced Jake found Other issues that needed to be addressed. I never dealt with Jake before, but I’ll tell you what he was a great guy! He was sympathetic and understanding, and kept me in the loop through the entire process. He really did go above and beyond, and got me back on the road in a timely manner. Some of the guys I used to deal with are no longer at that location, but I feel comfortable knowing Jake is there. Having a good experience like that means a lot and word-of-mouth is probably your best advertisement. Hope I don’t have to deal with any other issues anytime soon, but I’m sure Jake will provide great service again if I have to.

Updated Feb 10th, 2026 Great experience at this location today accidently confused them with the one on Wyoming Ave but they were happy to take us, got us in and out quickly and made us feel welcome. Thank you to Tom and John for accommodating us last minute!! We are kost pierce st lifers. Ihad a great experience getting a quote, tires, inspection & installation at the Kingston, Pierce St location. Flo & Bryan were quick and helpful and walked me through the process. They also were very friendly and explained everything the shop did to ensure the car was road ready! Our tire pressure light came on after installation but was an easy fix. Thank you again for your quick and efficient service to my vehicle, we will be back for services in the future!

On Friday around 300 pm I pulled in the Pierce St. Shop because I just hit a curb and had 2 tires on passenger side were deflated bec ause of striking the curb just dow the street. When I pulled in Mr. pabon came out to ask me if I needed hjelp and offered services to take care of the problem. Mr. Pabon wads very helpful and polite to take care of my problem. He and his staff took very good care of us in a timely fashion. I would like to say thank you very much for assisting us in our time of need.
