I was driving ten hours from DC to Vermont and knew my transmission was leaking but could not find a mechanic without a two week wait list to look at it. Car started driving noticeably different in the mountains of PA and I stopped in Wilkes Barre to try to find help. I went to three different repair shops (all booked) before someone recommended Kost. I'm sure there was a booking waitlist there as well but store manager Jason Gohsler recognized that it was an emergency, that I was far from home and my car was not safe to drive. Kost was able to diagnose the problem, order the needed part for repair and after an expensive two nights in a hotel- which could have been much, much worse if the car had died- fix the problem so I could get home safely. They went above and beyond to help a stranger in need and I am forever grateful & appreciative. It was truly life saving.

I live over 80 miles away and was visiting when I noticed a bubble in one of my tires and was terrified it would blow driving on a major highway at high speeds! These people literally saved my life!! I walked in to be greeted by a very understanding kind gentleman named Terry who was able to get me a wonderful price for all 4 tires, an alignment, and road hazard coverage! They put me as a priority and truly made me feel like a valued customer! Truly went from having an anxiety attack worried to drive my car to now feeling reassured I can drive safely. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

My finance brought our vehicle in to have the tire checked for a slow leak. We didn't have an appointment, but they took the vehicle right in, where they found a nail in the tire. Quickly plugged it and informed her "she's all set". The Manager "Flor Pabon" insisted there was no charge, and he was just happy to help her out. I've been a long time customer at the Wilkes-Barre location but I now live on the west side, it was fantastic to see that I still have this kind of great service and dedication to customer satisfaction available in a new town. I have visited this Kost location for years, and I have always had the best experiences when dealing with tire services. This group is the best around, especially Tom, Flo, and Brian! They are always knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. And, most importantly, they care about their customers! Highly recommend!! And I will be back for repeat business, even after changing jobs and being further away.

During a long trip we had a screw in our camper tire. Kost was recommended to us as good quality service. I can’t tell you how happy we were with the service they provided for us. They got us in fast and were very knowledgeable about repairing the tire on our camper. We were in and out in 15 mins and learned a lot about the proper way to fix and maintain camper tires.

This place has saved me from a lot of hassle a couple of different times. I bought new tires from a different place and then immediately ran over a piece of metal that punctured my tire. I didn't know how far I could drive, so I stopped at my a different place that was closer at first. I waited 20 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that I was there. I just left and took it to Kost. The guy at the desk was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They got me in quickly and patched my tire. I was out of there in no time. A+ experience. If you need tires or you need one fixed, this is the place to go. Don't bother with any of the other shops in the area.

I can’t say enough good things about the Kost Tire location in Taylor. I can’t say the same about other locations since I haven’t used them. George runs the shop in Taylor and he’s terrific! He’s extremely fair. Unlike other shops, they aren’t going out of their way to screw you. They give you reasonable estimates of how much time you have left with things like tires and brakes. When it comes time to do the work, they do top notch work at a fair price. I was using a different shop but stopped when a simple oil change went horribly awry. I popped my hood one day and saw oil leaking from around my oil filter. The team at Taylor Kost Tire explained they were using extremely cheap oil filters and didn’t fit them properly. That could have lead to running out of oil and a seized engine! I highly recommend Kost Tire in Taylor.

I had brought my car in to get new rotors and breaks, and they found things wrong with the car the dealership didn’t even missed! My car will last much longer than it would have and it drives like a brand new car! Great customer service and extremely knowledgeable staff there as well!

Brodheadsville is a Professional shop, knowledgeable, customer driven counter guys, in and out in an hour as a walk in!

Friendly staff. I usually make an appointment and let them know my time restrictions. I usually drop my car off when I can but that isn't required by any means. They never do work without my authorization which is a must for me. Parking is a bit tight but I still always take my cars here.

Awesome team they have at kost, fast reliable service.. no complaints.. keep doing what you're doing!

My wife and son were at Penn State for a tour and a tire blew out and needed a full size tire. They had to make the trip from State College to Connecticut. I called several tire stores in State College and could not get a Good Year in the size we needed same day. We purchased 4 tires last year from Kost In Mt. Pocono. Looked for nearest Kost to Penn State and called Lewisburg. I spoke with Randy, the store manager, early in the morning and explained the situation. He checked inventory and located 2 Good Year tires we needed in the warehouse. He told me no problem he would have the tires at his store early afternoon. My wife arrived at the store around 2pm and took care of mounting 2 new tires on the front and got my wife and son on the road. We are moving to PA in a few months and Kost will be our car service destination. Randy thanks for going the extra mile, pun intended.
