I’ve been using Kost Tire in WB for years, and I can confidently say they are the best around. The customer service is outstanding from the moment you walk in. Jason at the front desk, along with the rest of the team, is always professional, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Their pricing is great and fair with no hassle, no runaround, and no pressure. The service department consistently delivers excellent work, and I’ve never had to return for an issue after repairs. I highly recommend Kost Tire in WB to anyone looking for honest, dependable service.

Service manager ,Jason and the team of mechanics deserve a 5 star plus, years ago an ad said "you can trust your car to the men who wear the star".no doubt they are the stars. From my replacement of the spark plugs in my GMC truck,,189 thousand miles, cleaned the throttle plate, new cabin filter, air filter. I'm now getting 5 plus miles per gallon more. Most recent they replaced right and left wheel bearings. The turning response is a huge difference and most important my increased gas mileage, with the price of gasoline today...I'm very, very pleased..without hesitation I will continue to patronize WILKES-BARRE KOST TIRE, and the service team.

I can always rely on Jason to service my car problems asap and knowing the work performed by crew will be overseen. I leave on my merry way convenient and free of any worries.

I have visited the store numerous times and come away with the same results. Kindness and excellence. The mechanics are phenomenal and good kindly men. Instead of begrudging the fact that I have to go and get my car looked at for one thing or another it's at least a pleasurable experience. I always feel as though I'm treated fairly. The pricing is fair. They explain everything in detail. And sometimes, depending on what you've just pulled up for, they may not even charge you. The staff at kost tire have always given me excellent service. Tom in Kingston has always been fair and has always worked with me to get a good price that is affordable for me no matter what service I need. Also John in Kingston was very very patient when working with an outside warranty company just recently. There were a few snags with the whole procedure with the warranty company but he remained calm and professional. I highly recommend kost tire.

4-7-2026 Jason checked me in for my appointment and I explained all the needed work to be done. After all the work was completed, Jason checked me out. All the work was done perfectly. Whenever I have my vehicles serviced, Jason always is pleasant and listens carefully to my requests. At different times, he follows up with the mechanic to check progress and if there are any issues. When checking out, Jason lets me know if there is any concern for vehicle. He explains the work done and answers any questions I have. Jason is the best service manager I have ever dealt with because he treats customers like people and not just a chore he has to do. Great place to go because of Jason and his crew. 7-8-2026 Completed my appointment for car's state inspection. As always, Jason was on top of things. He checked me in and when checking out, he explained everything to me. Best Kost Tire location for service and friendliness. The only place to have my car worked on.

I have been to this coast tire many times for a variety of things from state inspection to tires and today was no exception to the great service that I always receive. Not only are my issues addressed and resolved, but all of the workers there are so friendly and really do a great job of taking care of their customers.

Exceptional service from the front desk to the technician.

I was driving ten hours from DC to Vermont and knew my transmission was leaking but could not find a mechanic without a two week wait list to look at it. Car started driving noticeably different in the mountains of PA and I stopped in Wilkes Barre to try to find help. I went to three different repair shops (all booked) before someone recommended Kost. I'm sure there was a booking waitlist there as well but store manager Jason Gohsler recognized that it was an emergency, that I was far from home and my car was not safe to drive. Kost was able to diagnose the problem, order the needed part for repair and after an expensive two nights in a hotel- which could have been much, much worse if the car had died- fix the problem so I could get home safely. They went above and beyond to help a stranger in need and I am forever grateful & appreciative. It was truly life saving.

Stopped in mistaking it for a place I had an appointment for. Room was made to take a quick look at a flat tire. Waiting a bit less than an hour for a last minute check in and my flat was fixed. Great first experience here. Will make my way back in the future.

I needed a flat tire repaired and the man behind the counter was pleasant but said it might be a while as they were busy. After 15 minutes my car was surprisingly in the shop and I ended up being there a total of 30 minutes. Very good service.

I have purchased many tires from the Wilkes Barre, Pa Kost Tires and have always from them to be efficient, professional, knowledgeable , and caring. That's why I go there, excellent job done today as usualy.

Jason, Casey and crew are great, personable and very knowledgeable. They show they care about the customers and the vehicles they work on by explaining everything. Dear Kost, On 06/26/2026 I was on my way to our annual family camping trip when my check engine light came on. I always go to Kost and I did so that day, Turns out I blew a coil and also required spark plugs. It was near closing time and these guys got the parts that were needed and stayed past closing to finish my repairs so I could get to the camp as I was carrying the supplies and they knew how urgent it was to get my car running.
