I called early a.m and spoke to Jake, whom was very informative, courteous, polite and patient after being in shock with having my air conditioner compressor pulley go out on me. He was very professional when explaining the different payment options & made the awful experience of having my care serviced more pleasurable. Very personable and would recommend speaking to him with any questions 🙂

I recently took my daughter’s Rogue to Kost Tire in Kingston (Pierce St) to have the brakes checked out. I spoke with Herman who very carefully explained what the Rogue needed and told me that my daughter’s safety was his main concern. I agreed. He didn’t try to sell me anything or deceive me in any way. He took his time and answered all of my questions. I also dealt with Flor (one of the management team) who showed me professionalism and genuine concern for my daughter’s vehicle. He was very knowledgeable and explained all of the charges and what they meant. As long as Herman and Flor are at this Kost , I will continue to bring all of my vehicles there . On Friday around 300 pm I pulled in the Pierce St. Shop because I just hit a curb and had 2 tires on passenger side were deflated bec ause of striking the curb just dow the street. When I pulled in Mr. pabon came out to ask me if I needed hjelp and offered services to take care of the problem. Mr. Pabon wads very helpful and polite to take care of my problem. He and his staff took very good care of us in a timely fashion. I would like to say thank you very much for assisting us in our time of need. We would highly recommend Kost Tire & Auto Serviceto everyone because of the service.

What stood out most was his honesty and customer-first approach. He made sure I got exactly what I needed at a fair price, kept me updated while the work was being done, and had everything finished quicker than expected. Great experience.

I’ve always been a fan of Kost so I take my vehicle there when there is a problem. I took it in the other Day to see if I can get a diagnosis on a problem I was having as well as getting an oil change tire rotation. While it was being serviced Jake found Other issues that needed to be addressed. I never dealt with Jake before, but I’ll tell you what he was a great guy! He was sympathetic and understanding, and kept me in the loop through the entire process. He really did go above and beyond, and got me back on the road in a timely manner. Some of the guys I used to deal with are no longer at that location, but I feel comfortable knowing Jake is there. Having a good experience like that means a lot and word-of-mouth is probably your best advertisement. Hope I don’t have to deal with any other issues anytime soon, but I’m sure Jake will provide great service again if I have to.

Kost tire is my go to. Screw the dealership, these guys really do treat you like family! They tell you how things are straight up, the work always comes out amazing, and they hand out amazing deals as well as perfect pricing. The Manager and Store Manager are both fantastic in their roles and are always the ones to address me when I come in and always show they care with whats going on! If you need anything fixed, inspected or done, go to KOST!!!!!!

Read before deciding where to go in Kingston for tire service. I recently got a flat in Kingston. I managed to get a donut on my car. I had another tire in my trunk that was perfectly fine. All I needed was to swap out my donut with this tire so I’d have 4 regular tires and be able to make it home safe. I went to Firestone, Tire Choice and Steve Shannon Tire. None of them would take 5 minutes to swap my tire. They did not care that I was on a donut, or that I just got a flat and was far from home. None of these places were busy either. They had no cars in the garage literally. They just didn’t feel like doing it and I was willing to pay them. Unbelievable. When I went to KOST they did not hesitate to swap my tire out. THEY DID IT FOR FREE! In 10 minutes I was in and out problem solved. They were so nice, professional and they ACTUALLY CARED. There are a lot of options for local tire businesses in the Kingston area. Do not hesitate to rely on the crew at KOST tires. They have my business from now on. Thanks again guys.
